Chapter 8
Just now, Winter fainted. Hellen knew very well that as she was just pretending to asleep. Later, when she saw Mason carrying Winter out, she couldn't but detest it.
She always thought that Mason had no feelings for Winter, but she was a little bothered after Mason had been gone so long and didn't come back.
Could Mason have fallen for Winter?
After waiting for a long time, she finally got up and took a peak outside. She happened to overhear two nurses talking,
"That female patient named Winter is so pitiful. After five weeks of pregnancy, she was abused and hurt all over. What a pity!"
Hellen's heart sank when she heard the news. The reason why Mason felt sorry for her and helped her was clear now. It was because she told Mason that she was pregnant with Mason's child.
That's why she wanted Mason to divorce Winter. If Mason found out that Winter is pregnant, it won’t be easy at all.
She had to take precautions before things would be too late, while thinking that, Mason sat down beside her bed. "Hellen, she agreed to the divorce!"
"Really?" Hellen's face immediately smiling, filled with surprise. Winter even agreed to divorce? So Mason didn't know anything about her pregnancy? She was relieved.
"It's true. Since she agreed to divorce, we should let Walter go." Mason sighed slightly.
"Mason!" Hellen looking at Mason pitifully.
"Don't blame Walter for what happened at the beginning. After all, anyone who would be in the same position will choose to do the same thing. It was only natural that Walter wouldn't save your father."
He even spoke for Walter. Hellen hated that in her heart, but he had a pitiful expression on his face, "Mason, I listen to yourself, for you, as long as I can be with you, I can let go of everything down!"
She was worried about what she should say. Mason showed sympathy for Winter, something she would never allow.
Fortunately, she had a way to deal with it. Hellen pointed to the mobile phone lying on the ground, "Mason, whose mobile phone is this?"
Mason looks at the ground she points to. The mobile phone lying on the ground is not Hellen's or from someone else. Winter just fainted and left her cell phone here. And so he went to pick it up. "It's Winter's mobile phone. She just left it here. I'll give it to her."
Watching Mason leave with the mobile phone, Hellen face gave out a cold smile.
Mason took Winter's mobile phone out of the ward and walked through the corridor. The mobile phone rang. He took a look at it, and there was a text message on the screen, "Honey, how's the baby? Are you all right? "
Mason was stunned, "what does this short message mean? Baby? What child? "
He pondered for a moment and turned on the SMS of his mobile phone. He was so angry that it was full of ambiguous messages for Winter an unknown number.
Winter was called on by other men.
A burst of anger spread in Mason's heart, his face instantly turning red.
Winter was leaning on the ward bed while looking at the ceiling. In a little more than ten hours, she would end up having nothing to do with Mason.
Her hand gently stroked her abdomen. What should she do for this child?
Her heart untangled with a bang as the door was kicked open from the outside, Mason, with a gust of wind, rushed to her bedside.
He looked down at Winter and burst out a few words, "are you pregnant?"
As he asked these words, the air in the ward suddenly dropped down, and Winter looked up at Mason.
His face was gloomy. This gloomy Mason is more frightening than the furious Mason. Winter has known him for so many years, but he has never felt such fear in Mason.
Even if he slapped her in the face for Hellen, he didn't feel so terrible.
She doesn't know what Mason is going to do. Anyway, he will divorce tomorrow. Anyway, he has never loved her. What can pregnancy change?
Winter shakes her head. Seeing her shaking her head, Mason's face turns ferocious. He opens his hand and smashes a checklist on Winter's face. "Are you not pregnant? So what's this? Tell me what the hell is this? "
