Chapter 6
Mason shot in anger and Winter's face immediately swelled.
She covered her face and looked at Mason in disbelief. Mason was also glaring at her and spoke with a cold voice, "Winter, this is what you asked for. I originally planned to let your father go. But since you’re so ignorant then don't blame me!"
"Mason!" Winter looked at the man's gloomy face in shock, "I didn't mean it, I really didn't mean it!"
She fervently explained, but the woman in Mason's arms groaned with extreme pain. "Mason, my stomach… my stomach hurts!"
"I'll take you to the hospital right away!"
Mason strode out holding Hellen, Winter struggled to chase after them, but she knelt on the ground for too long, her legs were already blue and numb, she tried her best to stand up but she couldn't support her body and with a bang, she fell heavily into the living room.
She felt like she was falling apart, but no one paid attention to her. She just lay on the ground in despair, watching her husband holding his sweetheart disappear into her sight.
Winter struggled to stand up and moved towards the door step by step.
It took her a long time to go from the living room to the door, and then from the door to the car outside.
Winter didn't know how she got to the hospital. Seeing that her face was full of bruises, the doctor complained about her while examining her, "You didn't know you were pregnant? Were you in a fight with others? Do you want to die?"
Winter didn't know how to explain it, and doing so was useless, so she remained silent.
The doctor sighed when she saw that she was silent, "You should raise it in the hospital first. The fetus is unstable. If an accident occurs in the hospital, you can consult a doctor at any time."
"Thank you." Winter thanked in a low voice. At this moment, where there is time for her to raise her body, she must beg Mason and beg him to let her father go!
After hearing about Hellen's ward, Winter hurried over with a heavy step. Hellen laid down on the hospital bed with her eyes closed and fell asleep, Mason waited anxiously on the side.
Seeing Winter come in, he stared at her viciously with a murderous look, "You better beg to God to bless the child in Hellen's belly, otherwise..."
"What are you talking about?" Winter opened her eyes wide and looked at Mason in disbelief.
A child? Hellen almost had a miscarriage?
"I said, you'd better beg Hellen and the child in her stomach to be okay!" Mason stared at her with his scarlet eyes, every word.
Hellen was pregnant with his child? So they are together a long time ago?
Her heart was filled with despair, and that despair was tearing at her heart. Is that what it feels to be late, right?
Winter softened, she was completely unable to stand as if life was drained from her, watching her staggering backwards, Mason didn’t flinch, and still looked at her coldly.
Winter's dilapidated body just fell down with nothing to hold on, and there was another bang, her eyes were staring at gold stars, her consciousness was blurred, and she completely lost consciousness.
When she woke up, she was lying on the bed and her head was still a little dizzy. She tried to move, and her body hurts uncomfortably.
Winter tried to sit up, and at a glance saw a woman with a disheveled hair and a bruise face appeared on the glass beside the bed in the ward.
She widened her eyes suddenly, and it took a long time to remember that this was her reflection.
The one who used to be as beautiful as a flower, turned into this way? Winter covered her eyes and sobbed silently.
She asked for everything!
She is so stupid!
Obviously knowing that Mason does not love her, knowing that he hates her, she had stayed beside Mason for three years without any complaints, and she waited stupidly, looking forward to Mason's change of heart.
While she was studying recipes, every day she trying to use food to win Mason’s heart like the old teaching, Mason had already begun planning how to calculate her father’s demise.
It tore a hole in her heart, her blood gurgling.
She was really too stupid, she was expecting the child in her belly might make Mason change his mind, and she expected him to give her a hint of pity.
Winter didn’t regretted it at the beginning, but now, she regretted it so much.
