Nathaniel left the National Investigation Bureau and rushed to the hospital.
In the hallway of Evan's ward, Nathaniel spotted Troy from afar and frowned. "Why are you out here? Didn't I tell you to watch over Mavis?"
Troy replied bitterly, "I got caught in the crossfire, sir. Mrs. Nicholls doesn't want to see me. She said if I must monitor her, I should do it from afar and stay out of her sight."
"I sent you to ensure her safety, not to spy on her."
