CHAPTER 1 I had been studying martial arts for four years. The first time I saw her was at my first promotional test. Maxine was fourteen at the time. She kept glancing back at me. She was cute. But, Maxine was just a kid. I thought nothing of it. Due to scheduling conflicts I had to switch to another school. I saw her two years later at a tournament. Again it seemed like Maxine was checking me out.  I played it off and made sure I kept my distance. School girl crush, I thought.  The kind that get a married man like me in trouble. Two and half years later, I returned to my original school.  She attended classes on a different day.
