Chapter 64 Safe and Sound

The sound of Luci’s car announced nothing but hope. Mark and Allison were waiting downstairs in utter desperation when he pulled into the compound. The desperation here is quite different from the others. Mark was wary of the news he got today. He is no longer the only one playing his game. Someone has taken over. Both of them ran to the car as Luci parked in the compound's parking lot. The doors opened, and the kids ran out and hugged Allison. As soon as Mark stepped out of the car, Mark dragged Luci to a quiet corner. “What is all this?” he asked furiously. “Someone is after you and your woman.” Said Luci. He freed Luci of his grip on his shirt. The enemy who had just risen must be Ralph Waldo, and the big bad thing remains the fact that Ralph won’t rest until his enemy is fumigated. “Did you take a close look at the men you confronted?” Mark asked. “I killed a couple of them and managed to take off their masks.” Luci leaned in on him. “Those men are masons with tough assignme
