Helen began answering the paper.
George observed them from outside while another teacher approached him and said, "Mr. Turner, are they taking a test?"
George smiled and replied, "Yes, they've just arrived, so we need to assess their abilities."
"I heard that a student scored full marks in the Regional Math Olympiad. They must be a promising talent.
George knew about the student who scored full marks, but he had higher expectations for his own student, Ethan.
"We'll know their level once they finish the test." George said with a profound look. He had intentionally included a challenging question at the end—a question from last year's National Math Olympiad.
So far, no student has solved it correctly. He wanted to challenge these students and make them realize their limitations.
"Then I'll wait for your good news, Mr. Turner."
The two-hour test quickly ended, and the students looked dejected.
