"The antiques should just be left there for display. How could they not understand this basic principle?"
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He angrily threw his prepared cereal into the sink and stormed off to his room, booting up his computer.
Two days later, the man, now in a carefully disguised appearance, positioned himself just outside the surveillance zone of the historic home. From his concealed vantage point, he silently observed the comings and goings of the Newtons.
He had already inquired with the real estate agent before coming, and today, Chandler would be signing the contract with the buyer.
Half an hour later, he drove away from the historic home with Helen.
The man immediately started his car engine and followed them without making a sound.
20 minutes later, he followed the couple into a commercial building, reaching the upscale restaurant on the 25th floor.
