After a few attempts, he successfully infiltrated the target network and began searching for any unusual transactions.
Everything was going smoothly. Nonetheless, the ease of it all felt strangely out of place. His well-honed instincts kicked in, and he quickly sensed something wasn't right.
Rising from his chair, he stepped toward the window, positioning himself behind the wall for cover. He then pulled back a corner of the curtain to get a clearer view outside.
A gray sedan was parked across the street. All the windows were rolled up, and it appeared to have been there for quite a while.
Taylor dropped the curtain and turned back to the room, his expression now serious. The surrounding houses were all empty, and he had chosen this location specifically for its privacy and isolation.
