Although Chandler knew the reason why Joshua had been delaying signing the contract, he didn't reveal it. Now, with Helen's intervention, many things became much simpler.
He squinted his eyes. "Anyway, thank you for helping me settle this matter. Consider it a favor owed to you. If you need anything in the future, just let me know."
Helen smiled and said, "Okay."
The car raced along the road, and she looked at the passing night scenery outside the window, feeling unexpectedly good.
After returning home, Helen removed her makeup and took a shower. She came out of the bathroom with her hair wet still dripping wet. She was wiping her hair with a towel when her computer made a chiming sound. Helen walked over and saw the computer screen light up.
She glanced at it and saw that it was a message from Chandler. It read, "Ms. Mayhew, Aliry's representative will arrive in Aguilisco tomorrow. I will send an assistant to go with you. Could you please pick them up at the airport?"
