"It's nothing," Helen reassured Tristan. "We were just exchanging pleasantries."
Tristan gave a slight nod before walking away.
Helen couldn't help but glance after him. Despite his quiet demeanor, Tristan had shown real integrity when it mattered.
Back then, he had lent her his laptop, which helped Helen reveal Megan and Edmund's false accusations. Because of this, Helen felt indebted to him.
Given how devoted Tristan was to his studies, she wasn't sure how to best show her appreciation.
"With Sadie involved, winning the championship is going to be a real challenge," Madelyn said with a sigh, her concern evident in her voice.
"Is she really that impressive?" Helen asked casually.
"Don't you know?" Madelyn replied, clearly surprised. "Sadie's been famous since high school. She's won the Mindfield Competition two years running and has an amazing memory. Some even say her knowledge is as good as a search engine's."
