He couldn't believe that Edward was looking at him disdainfully again; his son was looking down on him for being stupid! After Edward plucked off the wilted part of the vegetables, he carried them into the kitchen to wash them again. Then, he took them out again with two pairs of knives. Edward passed one of the knives to Benjamin, who promptly took it without further questions.
