Hestia and Joslin had just enjoyed a delightful meal at their in-laws' house. As they were getting ready to leave, Irene and Charles handed them a big bag of chocolate Easter eggs. Irene also gave the Moores two roasted chickens and honey-baked ham to take home. On top of that, the Somners gave them a generous supply of local produce. Feeling grateful for their in-laws' warm hospitality, Hestia and Joslin packed their car full before saying a cheerful goodbye. On their way home, Hestia commented, "We came empty-handed, yet they showered us with gifts. We certainly overlooked our etiquette today."
