Lorraine stopped picking cherries and looked down at Vanessa. "What are you going to do, Vanessa?"
Vanessa looked over at Joshua, who was munching on some cherries while sitting under a tree nearby. "Josh's attitude and behavior has toned down a lot these days. He's still a good kid when he's not around those people who dote on him to no end."
Back at the Ware residence, it was hard for Vanessa to discipline Joshua, despite being his mother. The other Wares would constantly defend him. He, too, knew that everyone else would take his side.
