Tiffany froze. She wondered when Vincent arrived. Ivy and the others caught sight of him too. They greeted him with a chorus of "Mr. Lewis" before scattering. Vincent didn't say anything. He headed into the office and closed the door behind him. Tiffany's heart was heavy with an indescribable discomfort. She couldn't shake the feeling that he had overheard those words. Yet, wasn't this what she had been striving for? Vincent was committed to Kelly. Tiffany knew better than to intervene in their relationship. As for the matter of the baby, Tiffany had never intended to disclose it to him. Allowing him to misinterpret the situation like this would undoubtedly change his demeanor toward her.
