Faye stared at Virgil as he scolded her, suddenly remembering the recording Zelda had sent to her. She pressed her lips together, mustering her courage as she grasped at her last shred of hope. Then, she asked, "Virgil, do you have feelings for Zelda?" Virgil's brows instantly furrowed together as he barked, "Stop your wild imagination! Just stay home, have the baby, and don't cause any more trouble!" The words "have the baby" seemed to have triggered something in Faye. Suddenly, she burst into hysterical laughter, tears streaming down her face. "Virgil, tell me the truth. Did you marry me just for the baby? You've never gotten over Zelda, have you?
