Chapter 301
Ainsley couldn't bring himself to argue when he saw Zelda in such a state. He waved his hand dismissively and said, "Alright, I won't say anything more. Set aside some time tonight. I'll take you home for dinner. Jenna said she misses you, and I'm free now anyway."
"Okay." Zelda nodded.
After arriving in Daprein, she had visited Ainsley once, but he had been busy working in the lab, and it hadn't been appropriate for anyone to interrupt.
She could have gone in, but she didn't want to disturb his research, so she left. She had planned to wait until he was done before visiting again, but it seemed Ainsley had come to her first.
After saying his piece, Ainsley turned and left.
After the situation with Stephanie was cleared up at the science institute, and with Tony shamelessly apologizing with a banner at the door, the people there became much friendlier toward Zelda.
At least now, they would greet her whenever they saw her. They probably felt sorry for themselves, having gotten in
