"We are sharing a room?" Lia inquired, seeking clarification. "Yeah, that's the plan according to the family head," Damon confirmed. "Besides, with paparazzi and all, every eye will be on us." As Damon and Lia settled into their lavish suite, the opulence of the hotel room contrasting with the weight of their peculiar situation, a moment of awkward silence hung in the air. Lia glanced around the room, then at Damon, and couldn't help but break into laughter. "Well, this is absurdly extravagant for a pretend honeymoon." Damon smirked, "The Cortez way, always grandiose, even in pretense. But hey, at least we get a taste of the Monte Carlo high life." Lia chuckled, "True, but let's not forget it's all for show. So, how are we going to pull off the 'happily married couple' act?" Damon, with a twinkle in his eye, replied, "We play the part, and we play it well. Smiles, hand-holding, the whole nine yards. Fake it till we make it, right?" Lia grinned, "I suppose so. But no ne
