Lia raised an eyebrow playfully, "Isn't that what you wanted? A marriage to make headlines?"
Damon, with a wry smile, replied, "Well, I was thinking more of a business deal that would make headlines, but you've certainly added a unique flair to it with this dress."
Lia laughed, "Ah, the perks of marrying me – unexpected fashion shows and a touch of chaos."

Damon hesitated for a moment, his gaze intense as he said, "Lia, I know you don't want to hear this, but I need to be honest with you. I spoke to Green about your time in Switzerland."
Lia furrowed her brow, a mixture of surprise and suspicion crossing her face. "You did what? Why would you do that?"
Damon sighed, "I needed answers, Lia. I needed to understand your past, especially if we're going to navigate this unconventional journey we've embarked on. I had to know about the time you spent in Switzerland."
