Chapter 21

　　Pearl, who was sleeping next to him suddenly snored, he giggled a bit, and looked at the door in a daze. He slowly got out of bed and ran towards his mother's room. 　　She wasn't there, did she go to work already? 　　He ran to the kitchen. He lightly tapped the pan and stove and his heart sank and he became sad, the pan and stove were cold and there was no breakfast ready. 　　Daniel was only three-years-old but he was a smart kid. He knew his mother didn't come back yesterday, if she did, she would've made breakfast and leave a note for them. 　　Pearl was then awakened by a soft cry. 　　She moved her hand to touch the side, but Daniel wasn't there. She was so frightened that she opened her eyes, and sat up. She was ready to rush outside to find him but she instead saw Daniel in the corner. 　　He was curled up in a ball, sitting in the corner crying. He looked pitiful. 　　"Daniel, baby, why are you crying?" 　　"Where is my mommy? Pearl,
