Chapter 1

It was extremely dark that night, and it was hard to see anything in the darkness. On a secluded road in the outskirts, a young girl was riding on her bicycle. Suddenly a car engine could be heard from behind. Immediately after, a sports car passed by her, after drifting on a sharp turn, it fell heavily into the ditch on the side of the road. It made a loud crash as it landed. Samantha Yan was so frightened that she fell off her bicycle with a scream, and knelt on the ground with her hands on her mouth. She was dumbfounded as she stared at the wrecked sports car. "Uh…" After a few seconds, a painful groan came from the car. Samantha rushed over without giving it a second thought. She banged on the car door anxiously and she said, "Hey! Are you okay? Stay calm, I'll go get help." At that moment, two headlights were shining from a distance. A car was coming and Samantha was overjoyed. She ran over and waved her hands quickly, "Hey! Stop, help!" Unexpectedly, the car accelerated past them. "What? Hey!" Samantha let out a disappointed sigh. She jumped into the ditch and she tried her best to pull the deformed car door open. She was a weak woman, she couldn't possibly get it open, but a life was at stake, so she needed to try nonetheless. She pulled hard on the car door, she unintentionally broke a bone in her arm, but she persevered anyway. Fortunately, the car door was pulled open. With fresh blood dripping from his forehead, a slender man came out from inside, he grabbed her ankle with one hand, and said unsteadily, "Help...me." His hands were hot. Samantha was startled, but she held on to the man's shoulder. She said sincerely, "Don't worry, I'll help you. I couldn't possibly leave a wounded man alone." "Thank you, I will repay you." The man's voice was weak, but it was very deep and it had a certain magnetism to it. He was a young man judging from his voice. Samantha blushed at hearing it. "No need to repay—" Before she could finish speaking, she was pulled in by the man, and she was completely shrouded in his charming aura. "What are you doing? Wait—" Samantha's eyes widened in panic, and her mind went blank. He stole her first kiss. Samantha tried pushing him away as hard as she could, but he wasn't letting go. She hurt herself to save him, she couldn't believe this was happening. Peter Xiao was plotted against during a party from earlier, and he was already in pain even before crashing his car. The young girl seemed to be his best antidote, taking advantage of her compassion, he stole a kiss right then and there and then a little more than that. Samantha bit her lips, tears fell from her eyes. She was being violated. She thought that the "help" the man actually wanted was different from what she wanted to do. She wanted to help him, but she didn't want to use her body. "I hate you! You animal!" the girl sobbed lowly, and with an injured arm she wasn't strong enough to fight back. The man's heart trembled, but he didn't stop. After a long time, Peter was finally satisfied. His grip weakened and Samantha was able to escape. He then said as she was pulling her skirt up, "I hurt my foot. Go find my phone in my car, and go back with me later for your payment." Hearing this Samantha was infuriated. "You bastard!" She stood up, grabbed a handful of dirt, and threw it on the man's face. She then turned around and ran back home. "Ah!" Peter was blinded by the dirt. He stood up and tried to chase her, but his ankle was broken, and he knelt on one knee to the ground. When he wiped the dirt off his eyes, and then he looked around. It was dark and she was already long gone. At this time, his phone rang in the car, and through the light, he saw a white shoe next to him. It was already midnight when Samantha returned home. She thought her family was asleep, but as soon as she turned on the lights, she saw her sister leaning on the top of the stairs with a glass of red wine in her hand, she had a smile on her face. Samantha ignored her and she walked up the stairs with her head down. "Was there a car accident?" Cassandra Yan stopped her and raised her eyebrow with ill-intent. "Honestly, I didn't think it was you waving your hands like an idiot." Samantha was in pain again, and her face turned pale. She tightened her clothes and asked coldly, "You were the one who passed by?" "Yes." "Then why didn't you stop?" If her sister had stopped, she wouldn't have been harassed. "Why bother? Accidents happen every day." Cassandra took a sip of wine, and she said in a selfish manner, "I didn't tell dad yet. Were you the cause of the accident? How much money do you have to pay? Don't leech off of me and dad." "Get out of my way!" Samantha forced her way up the stairs. "You're filthy!" Cassandra was about to be rubbed against her, she stepped back in disgust, but she suddenly caught up to her and she grabbed her. "Hey! Are those my shoes? Where is the other one?" "Dad gave it to me. He said you're too young." Samantha looked down at her feet, only to realize that she had lost a shoe at some point. "Young? I'll grow older then, who cares if I'm young?" Cassandra pushed her sister viciously. "Do you know how much those shoes cost? Those shoes were Gucci, I bought them for five thousand yuan!" With her back hitting against the railing, Samantha gasped with pain, she took off the shoe and she threw it at her sister's feet. "It's yours then! I'll find the other one tomorrow." "Filthy girl!" Cassandra splashed the wine on her sister's face. "You think I'm going wear that after you sullied it? You wasted five thousand yuan. Wait, what's that smell?"
