Viviana walked over and tugged at Tessa's sleeve. She whispered with a frown, "Tessa! Stop causing trouble." Lucy had come to celebrate with her, bringing a gift and a contribution. Ricky politely pulled out the seat beside him, smiling, "Lucy, sit here. We haven't seen each other for so long; let's add each other on WhatsApp." Two people from their class had been accepted to university. While Lucy went, Tessa didn't, so it must have been a little hard for her. "Sure," Lucy replied confidently and sat down. Viviana glanced at Tessa, hoping she wouldn't cause any more trouble. Lucy took out her phone and added Ricky on WhatsApp. "This is the latest iPhone 17, just released, priced at 8,999 dollars." He paused when he saw the phone, surprised. People in town generally didn't splurge on such expensive phones. After all, it was like three or four months' worth of salary! Tessa sneered, thinking city folks always liked to show off. She even wondered if Lucy had bought it on credit.
