When I spoke, Wynnie's face appeared in my mind. I continued, "Ms. Roth, Wynnie has used up the last remnants of my love. I would like to spend the rest of my days living for myself."
I turned and walked out of the washroom, ignoring how Juana had frozen in place.
I evaded the crowd and finally squeezed my way to the exit of the banquet hall.
