Chapter 29

Tiffany ends up dragging Howard to the field and immediately asks him about what he and Michelle were doing. Howard tries to explain but Tiffany doesn't believe what he's saying and hits him in anger and it's only then that she notices the wound on his hand and pinches it just a little bit harder. It's after that that Howard asks if Michelle is really her best friend. Tiffany says she is and Howard gives a word of advice that she still needs to learn how to read people so not to put so much trust in a friend. She laughs at his comment but brushes it off as nothing. Howard notices the scarecrow in the field and Tiffany removes the kite that's around it and they begin to play with it in the field. They took a little break and she explains her love for kites come from the fact that is one of the only memories she has of her parents.
