Chapter 16

　　They started for the mines. While Danika walked in her usual steady elegant steps, Sally skidded her way forward, grinning and smiling at everything and everyone. 　　She's like a wealth of sunshine in a very dark world, Danika thought. 　　Although, it's not on her face, Danika was so happy for the first time in a long time. 　　As they walked, Danika discovered that everyone loves Sally.
