Chapter 1297 Stop Playing The Victim
Alba’s anger went off the charts as she said that. All of a sudden, she felt that she could no longer tolerate being inside Simon’s car. She released her seatbelt and opened the car door.
“Where are you going?” Simon called out to her.
Alba turned to look at him with a smirk. “I won’t be bothering you, Mr. Simon, to send me home. I can grab a cab myself.”
Slam!
Alba shut the car door with a loud bang. Then, she marched off in her heels. She was tall for a girl and had long legs. Taking large strides was a breeze for her.
Simon found himself in a tricky situation.
He admitted that he had overreacted but Alba, too, was overreacting now. He drove his car ahead to catch up with Alba.
“Get in. You won’t be able to get any cabs here.”
“That’s none of your business. I can handle this myself,” Alba said petulantly. “Just don’t invite me into your car anymore, Mr. Simon. I wouldn’t want to die of a heart attack, ya know.”
