Chapter 80: Never Liked
Seeing Isabella almost fall, Vincent's heart skipped a beat. After pulling Isabella close, he looked up at Timothy, his eyes icy cold, as sharp as daggers.
As Isabella's heartbeat slowly calmed, she felt a bit resentful. Timothy seemed to be her jinx, always bringing trouble whenever they crossed paths.
Nestled in Vincent's embrace, Isabella tugged at his shirt, urging softly, "Let's go, let's go home and sleep. I'm so tired."
Vincent retracted his gaze, the chill around him dissipating. He lowered his head to look at Isabella, seeing her reluctance, he wasn't as angry as before. His mood improved considerably.
He didn't want Timothy to speak to Isabella, so he opened the car door, intending to take Isabella inside and leave.
Completely ignored by the two, Timothy's anger flared up. His expression turned chilling, stopping the two in their tracks. "Wait."
With that, he strode over, standing in front of Vincent and Isabella.
