Chapter 54 It Has to Be Her

After a long day, Isabella fell asleep in the car. Vincent didn't wake her up; he just carried her home after the car stopped. He carried her all the way to the bedroom and then leaned down to kiss her softly on the warm lips before heading downstairs to prepare food. After he left, Isabella quickly opened her eyes, her cheeks and ears burning as if they were emitting smoke. In fact, she had woken up when Vincent opened the door, but for some reason, she didn't make any extra movements at the time. Instead, she chose to pretend to be asleep. She absentmindedly touched her lips and then realized with alarm that she seemed to have become accustomed to this level of intimacy with Vincent without even knowing when it started.
