Chapter 264 Mary's Choice
Once alone, all those negative emotions started surfacing.
Vincent's father knew about the York family's situation and would come over every day to play chess with Charles. Despite their age difference, they had plenty to talk about and shared hobbies.
They got along well.
When Vincent's father came over, Caroline would come along too. This way, Charles had Vincent's father to play chess and drink tea with, discuss calligraphy, while little Ivan had Caroline with him.
