Vincent was feeling much better. Even though he didn't like sweet and sour flavors, he still picked up a piece of sweet and sour pork and put it in his mouth.
Isabella let out a sigh of relief.
Everyone was chatting and laughing, except for Emma, who had been silent the whole time. She just listened to everyone and occasionally chuckled at something funny, focusing on the food in front of her.
Wilson, sitting next to her, noticed and quietly asked, "Are you feeling unwell?"
Emma quickly shook her head. "No."
Wilson nodded and didn't say anything else.
Audrey, sitting on the other side of Emma, furrowed her brows slightly. She knew Emma was also a victim of bullying in school, and people who had been through such experiences often had some issues.
She asked Emma softly, "Do you not like being in crowded places?"
Emma hesitated for a moment before replying, "No, I don't mind."
