The door to the ward opened immediately. Irwin's towering figure stepped in with a cold look on his face. He greeted in his deep voice, "General Lewis."
"Take my business card and send it to Maxim. Tell him I'm very angry right now and that he should find a way to appease me. If he can't think of anything, have him bring his son over," Jonah said casually.
"Understood."
Irwin smiled, though his scarred face twisted it into something terrifying. He quietly left.
"General Lewis, Maxim treasures his son. There's no need to—" Keaton tried to reason.
"What do you mean no need? His son is his son! Isn't my son a son too?" Jonah slammed the table hard, sending the chess pieces flying.
His eyes filled with anger. "Fuck, I've just been lazy and letting them run wild lately. But this Maxim really thinks he can hurt you? Does he think that I'm made of glass?
"I'm going to make sure the whole of Southbury knows today. I'm just injured, not dead!"
