Kevin smiled.
"Mr. Lincoln, do you know her?"
"Of course! Fiona and I were classmates in high school. I used to pursue her back then. Unfortunately, Fiona didn't choose me, and I still wish she did," Kevin said with a smile.
Noticing Lisa's sour expression, Fiona felt a sense of satisfaction. Finally, she could hold her head high before her classmates.
"We were young and foolish back in high school. Besides, my family was strict, so I wasn't allowed to date," Fiona explained.
Kevin's friend chimed in, "So, now you're more mature. If Mr. Lincoln were to pursue you again, you wouldn't reject him, would you?"
Fiona felt awkward. Truth be told, she didn't like Kevin, but she had to please him and avoid offending him.
"Let's take things slow. Besides, Kevin might have already found someone new. He might not be interested in me anymore," Fiona answered tactfully.
"You always have a special position in my heart. I haven't dated anyone in these past three years," Kevin said.
