When Alpha Marcus touched me, I knew that he felt how hot my skin was, literally. I saw him wince and gasp when he realized what was happening with my body, but he still did something incredible that made me appreciate more than I already had. While my head was spinning like crazy because of the voice I was hearing inside my head, Alpha Marcus scooped me up like a baby and asked me what was happening. All I could tell him was to get us out of the house, and he did without question. I heard him say something to the people inside the house, but I couldn't understand what he told them. He carried me in his arms as he walked while I was having headaches because the voice inside my head was no joke. It was like something was drilling inside my skull. There were moments that the pain got too much that I almost blacked out. Alpha Marcus was talking to me, but I couldn't even hear clearly what he was saying.
