Sean glanced at Athena, offering his hand to her, he was glad when she placed her hand in it and smiling, he led them to the couch he was occupying previously. Athena was surprised when she saw Esperanza and when their eyes met; all she remembered were the things she told her in the restroom about Sean. She glanced away, trying to get herself in check. She had wanted to leave the other party because she couldn t bear staying in the same room with her for tonight again and had been glad when they finally left, even though she left before them but seeing her now, and realizing that she had been sitting with Sean earlier before they arrived made her uncomfortable.
