Alec’s point of view.
I let Deidra choose something for her niece from the menu and settled the bill, promising to stay in contact with her. Killian and I made our way back to the hotel, a silence hanging between us as we both pondered over the information we'd just gathered.
Finally, we were back in my hotel room, and Killian closed his laptop, his hands resting on his hips.
"This is even better than we thought. We've got more information," Killian admitted with a triumphant grin.
"I can't believe the guy has a child," I muttered, a sense of disbelief washing over me. How could Daniel treat his own child as if they didn't exist? Did his world truly revolve solely around himself? This was much worse than I thought.
"A three-year-old girl. Does that mean he got together with Alana right after?" Killian pondered, his curiosity about the timeline piqued.
