Alana’s POV.
"Lunch was lovely. It was really great getting to know you, Alec. I hope we see more of each other soon," Mom said, embracing Alec in the parking lot.
"Of course, likewise, Mrs. Jordan. We need to schedule that dinner with Mr. Jordan," Alec replied, flashing a charming smile. These two were like two peas in a pod now.
"I'll be sure to send you two an invite very soon, okay?" Mom patted Alec's shoulder.
"Sounds great. Have a great day, Mrs. Jordan," Alec said politely but seemed to be waiting for my mom to leave.
"I need to speak with my daughter, so I'll wait." Mom took a small step back and pretended to be busy with her phone.
"I'll see you at home," Alec kissed my cheek, his stubble sending shivers down my spine. "Will you be home for dinner?"
"Yeah, what's up?"
