Chapter 759
For the next few days, Judy was away on a business trip. The nurse from the hospital would send her photos from time to time.
Clark had been bringing Rose all three meals every day. He even played video games with her and took her downstairs for some air.
"It looks like they are getting along just fine. They don't seem like they hate each other," Natalie commented after looking at the photos. "She's a little girl after all. She won't hold a grudge for too long."
"There must surely be some friction. I heard the nurse say that Rose had been picky and commanding Clark everywhere like a servant. He must be suffering."
"Well, he has to since you treat her as your little sister."
Judy said nothing. She initially thought that Clark would not be able to take it for long. It was one thing to pretend to be getting alone. After all, there was a death in between them. How could they possibly truly get along?
