A week later, Lilly was discharged.
Ever since Judy revealed that she displayed signs of recovered memory, Matthew seemed to be treating her better. He even called her a few times a week and invited her to family dinners.
His behavior confirmed Judy's suspicion that the prescription played a role in her mom's death.
"Juju, I can take care of myself. Why did you even hire a housekeeper for me?" Lilly grumbled as she glanced out of the bedroom door. She didn't want Judy to waste money on her.
Judy folded the clothes and smiled. "Dr. Phelps got you the housekeeper. She's not doing much except making your meals and cleaning your place. If anything happens, she can reach out to me in time."
Although Judy refused to take the apartment Dominic had found her, she accepted the housekeeper he had recommended.
"What could happen to me? Look, I'm fine." Lilly scanned her room and lamented, "This place is too huge for one person. It's a pity you're not moving in with me."
