Chapter 59
Judy hurried over and opened the cabinet door.
Sure enough, just as Clark had said, a silver square safe box was embedded within it.
However, it had a password lock and was impossible to open without the code. What's more, the safe box was also connected to the bookcase.
Judy sent a photo of the safe box to Clark. "The safe box is here. Can I leave now?"
But there was no response from the other end.
Judy felt anxious, but just as she was about to leave, she suddenly heard voices outside–Matthew had returned.
Judy looked around, but she couldn't find a place to hide.
"Uhh—"
A hand suddenly covered Judy's mouth and dragged her backward.
When Judy finally came to her senses, she found herself in a dimly lit environment with the pungent smell of incense ash choking her.
She would have coughed if her mouth hadn't been covered.
"Don't speak," someone whispered.
