Chapter 13
Is that the reason why Jimmy is staring at her fiercely now?
Maine's calf shrank, and he caught her slender, white-skinned ankle.
"Do you want to run?"
Maine shrank her neck, Uncle, I really didn't lie to you."
The little girl said with a trembling voice.
This man is terrible, so she doesn't want to get involved with him.
Jimmy pressed her tightly every step of the way, squeezing her ankle and dragging her to him, reaching out to jam her small chin, looking aggressive, "Little liar, are you still trying to hide it after sleeping with me?"
Maine wanted to cry without tears, and said with difficulty, "Uncle...It's really not me..."
The man was about to question her further when the phone in his trouser pocket rang.
George asked on the phone, "Jimmy, did you find Maine?"
He glanced at the little girl shrunk in the quilt, and said lightly, "Well, I found her."
"Send her back to our house. You are a thirty-two-year-old man who is always together with his nephew's future wife and it doesn't look good."
There is something in the old man's words that is impossible for Jimmy not to understand.
But how could he listen to the old man?
He didn't answer again, and he hung up the phone.
Just looking sideways to see the person on the bed, he saw that the little girl was already barefoot and was about to slip away.
Jimmy burst into flames for no reason, and suddenly carried the little girl on his shoulders. Maine screamed because of it.
The man didn't have the slightest tenderness at all, and walked out of the hospital with her on his back.
Along the way, the doctors and patients in the hospital looked at him.
She hadn't cared so much anymore. Her belly was pressed against his hard shoulder, and the pain almost forced tears into her eyes.
Immediately afterwards, she was stuffed into the car rudely by the man.
Maine fled straight into the corner, looking at the man who got into the car with horror.
The man's squatting gaze was cold, and he asked word by word, "You'd better explain everything on the night of the 28th."
The little girl curled her neck, twisted her green fingers, and protested, "I have nothing to explain..."
The man ignored her at all, and asked her, "Did Euan force you or did you volunteer?"
His tone was too strong-hard, so Maine was so scared that she shrank her neck again. The man had no patience anymore, and he shouted, "Say it!"
The little girl wrinkled her face and whispered bitterly, "Euan..."
Before she finished speaking, her body was suddenly pulled over by the man's big palm, and the big palm hit her tun.
Maine was unprepared and whispered in pain.
"Did you do what Euan asked you to do?"
Maine was so scared that her soul was gone, "No..."
"I will give you one more chance, were you forced or it was voluntary?"
The man's palm was clasped on her waist. It is clearly a threat.
She bit her lip tightly, pinched her slender fingertips into her palm, holding back tears, and suddenly shouted at him, "I was raised by the Lincoln family, yes! But you have no right to hit me like that!"
Jimmy twisted her eyebrows slightly and pinched her waist, "How did you have so much courage to say that?"
