Benedict's brows knitted with displeasure as he looked at the two of them.
Huh, he didn't believe something asked by a woman could stump him.
Cordelia, very earnest, said, "I have keys but open no locks. I have space but no room. You can enter, but you can't go inside. What am I? Please answer."
Archibald pondered for a moment, unable to come up with an answer, and he glanced at Benedict. "You can't answer either, can you, little fool?"
"I'm not playing with her." Benedict, with his handsome face, stood up, heading upstairs.
Cordelia covered her mouth, stifling a laugh. She knew he wouldn't, always acting aloof!
During dinner, the three sat at the table.
Archibald served Cordelia a lot of dishes, his gaze kind. "Since your mother is from the Southern region, you probably enjoy Southern cuisine. I specially hired a chef who will follow you back. Make sure you eat well and don't starve."
Benedict snorted. "Rest assured. She can even finish all the food in the entire fridge."
