Cordelia dashed in, her gaze filled with worry as she landed it on Thomas. "Thomas, are you okay?"
Thomas, catching sight of her, had a momentary flicker of surprise on his face and wondered why they had returned so suddenly.
"How's Mrs. Paul?" Thomas asked, concern etched in his voice.
Cordelia sensed something amiss, furrowing her brow slightly. "She's fine. What brings Eleanor here?"
Eleanor, wearing a smug grin, chuckled sinisterly. "Well, I'm here for a reason, of course. To sign a contract."
'She's here to sign a contract?' The three of them froze, their gazes collectively shifting to Thomas, Cordelia's disbelief palpable.
