Chapter 124 The Misunderstanding
Cordelia's heart clenched. She felt sorry for Archibald's concern for her at such a time. She tightly grasped Archibald's hand. "Mr. Archibald, please rest well. We'll be fine. You don't need to worry."
Benedict glanced at Cordelia's tense expression and said nothing, just slightly tightening his grip on her palm.
Archibald wasn't doing too well. He was coughing up blood. Benedict called for Alaric to assess the situation.
After a night of turmoil, just before dawn, Archibald's condition stabilized, and the two finally felt relieved enough to leave.
On their way back, seeing Benedict hadn't slept all night, Cordelia took away his car keys. "Let me drive."
Benedict didn't refuse. Cordelia drove steadily and skillfully. He closed his eyes to rest.
There was still plenty of time before work, so Cordelia planed to drive him back to the estate.
Not long into the drive, Cordelia heard a chilly voice from the passenger seat. "Take me to the Radcliffe Group."
