Chapter 89 The Accident
Cordelia was texting when she suddenly felt a chill down her spine, turning to see Benedict's face frozen in a grim expression.
"What's wrong?"
"Come with me." Benedict's voice was almost devoid of any emotion, as cold as the frozen lake.
Cordelia felt the weight of his oppressive aura as she followed him to a lamppost, adorned with decorative pine trees, their branches adorned with various ornaments.
"I warned you last time not to contact other men so frequently. You're not to see them again."
Benedict's voice was colder than the surrounding wind, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Cordelia scoffed. "You are rich, but I haven't taken a dime from you. Why should I give up my friends for you?"
These friends had been with her through the toughest times, while her identity as Benedict's wife was only temporary.
