Chapter 91

After rendering Crystal unconscious, Lyra held the knife between her feet and used it to cut the rope around her hands. It was a slow process, and she was worried that someone would show up before she was done. Luckily, nobody came into the room. Once she set herself free, she used the knife to cut a sheet into strips, then used them to bind Crystal's hands and feet. She tied another strip around Crystal's mouth so that when she came to, she would not be able to scream for help. After that, Lyra dragged her towards the secret chamber door. Standing at the top of the stairs, she pushed Crystal into the space below. Crystal's body tumbled down the stairs for a few seconds before falling to the room below with a heavy thud. Satisfied, Lyra shut the door to the secret room. After that, she went into the bathroom. The maid uniform she was wearing turned out to be the perfect disguise.
