When he stepped into view, they saw that it was Asher. His eyes met Beryl’s across the distance. Beryl’s pulse skyrocketed, her heart beating so hard she was afraid it might break through her ribcage. She was no longer aware of anything else around her as her eyes remained glued to the male on the other side of the garden. Her mate.
