"Y-You're lying," I told Emma bluntly. "Eli isn't going to die. He has to live. Where is the Healer? I have to talk to him and ask if he did everything he could---"
"Ariella... Eli lost a lot of blood. He needs a blood transfusion, but his blood type is rare so his uncle went back to Kingsville to fetch Eli's parents. But that might take a while and Eli might not be able to endure his condition any longer."
"No... I refuse to believe that he'll die. Not right now. I haven't got my memories back yet." I was shaking because I was trying to calm myself while my inner wolf had been howling and growling the whole time. Maybe it could sense that its mate is on his deathbed already. That's why it's acting like this and it's making me feel worse.
"You lost your memories?" Emma asked me, surprised. "Did the vampires do that to you?"
I nodded. She wanted to ask me more, but I demanded to talk to whoever was the leader of this group. I needed to do something for Eli but I'm not sure
