ELI. When we arrived at New Forks, it was still as empty as ever. The restaurant where Ariella used to work was closed so I couldn't ask David again. I wasn't even sure if the restaurant was closed temporarily or not. The three of us were standing right in front of the place, not sure of where to go next now that we couldn't speak to David anymore. "Something is fishy," Adam said out loud while we waited for something that would point us in the right direction. "Am I the only one who thinks that the timing of this closure is so suspicious? What do you think, Eli?" I sighed because I was as clueless as they were. "It is suspicious, but this place doesn't have a lot of customers in the first place so maybe it just went bankrupt. Or maybe they're just close for today." "I don't believe that," Adam replied. "That David dude was too good to be true, and guys like that are often red flags. You know what, maybe he was a vampire all along and he kidnapped Ariella because he found out that
