Isaac mused to himself for a couple seconds and said, "Yeah." He did not mention Harvey, leaving Irene to think that he really was busy. It was not surprising that James would not ask Isaac for leave… But were they really so busy that they would not have time for a wedding? Having money gets things done, however.
