Cecilia's pov
“I don't know how I was able to do it as well,” I answered timidly. Dorian shrugged and began to pack up his materials.
“You made my job a lot easier though, Michael is always very difficult to treat so I think I should thank you instead.”
He took a step to my front and bowed slightly, “thank you.”
I gave a stiff smile and reciprocated his greeting, while we were doing all the formalities, Michael already opened his eyes.
“What are you two doing? Is it a form of martial art?”he questioned, the mockery in his tone isn't hard to notice. I glared at him then walked up to him.
“How are you feeling now? Why did you get distracted during the battle?” I asked, unable to stop myself from pouting. Michael laughed and brought up his hand to touch my face.
“Were you so worried that I wouldn't wake up?”
