Chapter 86
Chapter 86
THIRD PERSON'S POV
The ride home was a silent one as those in the car were lost in their own thoughts.
Theo badly wanted to spend time with her before dropping her home. He thought of how he was going to ask her out on another date.
Cheryl on her part was confused about her feelings for Theo. He was a great guy; that's what he has projected so far. He was a great guy to be around; to talk to. And the more time she spent with him, the more she liked him. She felt safe, secure, she could rely on him. But she wasn't sure she was ready to like him.
It's difficult. Difficult to let herself succumb to the feelings that Theo has been drawing out of her. She's had enough false starts. She liked him; she liked how he made her feel. Yet the scars from hers and that of Cheryl's past made it impossible for her to allow herself to feel anything more for him than what she felt at the moment. That was a loss, a great loss. He was not just another boy she couldn't see herself
